The CEO’s view of what 2025 has in store for Quoris3D.
As the first month of 2025 draws to a close, 2024 has quickly become a memory and we’ve embraced the opportunities of a new year. January always brings a sense of renewal - a chance to refocus, to build on past successes, and to set our sights firmly on the future. Reflecting on where Quoris3D stands today, I am filled with immense pride for what we’ve achieved and even greater excitement for what lies ahead. This year will be one of growth, transformation, and innovation for our business, and I’m thrilled to share some of the plans that will shape the months to come.
Our core values of innovation, integrity, expertise, excellence, and people, remain at the very heart of our vision for 2025. It is these values which will enable us to fulfil our ambitious growth plans, and allow us to further enhance our solutions driven proposition to help shape the future of the industry.
For our flagship GuidedSMILE brand, this will be a year of significant expansion into the European market. The demand for GuidedSMILE continues to grow, and we are committed to supporting this with the infrastructure and partnerships necessary to succeed in new markets, whilst continuing to develop and scale domestically, across the UK and Ireland. Plans are already underway to cement our position as the go-to provider for full-arch workflows, with several commercial partnerships and announcements expected to make this a standout year. These developments represent not just growth in numbers but also growth in ambition, as we strengthen our capability to meet the needs of clinicians across Europe.
To support this expansion, we’re investing in our people, facilities, and operations in ways that will have a lasting impact. Construction of our new two-storey extension, which in late August, is progressing well, and is set to be completed in the spring. This new space is more than just bricks and mortar; it’s a bold step forward and another industry first for Quoris3D, as we are set to open a new, cutting-edge metal printing facility dedicated to the dental industry, which will be the only facility of its kind in Ireland.
For the first time, we’ll be able to produce metal guides for GuidedSMILE cases directly in Europe, reducing turnaround times by up to seven days. This development is not just about efficiency; it’s about enhancing the experience for our customers and their patients, ensuring they benefit from quicker, more reliable solutions.
The metal printing facility will also allow us to venture into new product areas, such as producing bars for bridges and overdentures. This complements our ambitious plans for our new prosthetics departments, with Digital Dentures a key area of focus for us this year. Digital Dentures present a unique challenge, with their vast range of variables, but we see this as an opportunity to bring clarity and predictability to an area that has long been seen as complex. Our aim is to bring the same predictability clinicians enjoy with GuidedSMILE and our Guided Bundles, to the field of Digital Dentures; to create intuitive workflows that take the guesswork out of the process, making it easier for clinicians to deliver exceptional results with confidence. We believe this unique approach to Digital Dentures could be a game changer for practices.
This type of original thinking helps us live up to our promise to deliver pioneering, solutions driven products and services to the market, and reaffirms that innovation remains a cornerstone of our efforts here at Quoris3D. And we’ve kicked off 2025 with another example of that innovative spirit, with the launch of GuidedSMILE Grammetry hot off the press! This new addition to our GuidedSMILE family represents another significant step forward in digitising workflows, allowing clinicians to integrate the precision of Grammetry or Photogrammetry with the proven reliability of GuidedSMILE. By replacing the Rapid Appliance with the Grammetry Optisplint, or a chosen Photogrammetry system, we’ve fully digitised the conversion process, enabling an end to end full arch digital workflow for our GuidedSMILE clinicians. For those who have yet to try the Grammetry protocol, this is the perfect opportunity. And if you’ve tried or considered Photogrammetry, I would certainly caution against investment without trying our Grammetry workflows first, which offer significant benefits versus the former, not least the huge financial savings! With ROE Dental’s BJ Kowalski expressing the belief that “Grammetry is a technology which will eliminate the need for Photogrammetry within dentistry”, and the general consensus seemingly in agreement, we’re expecting to see significant growth in Grammetry usage this year.
As much as we’re focused on innovation, we never lose sight of the importance of education and support, which have proven to be an invaluable aide to the success of GuidedSMILE this side of the Atlantic. This year, we aim to build on our foundational training for GuidedSMILE, and put in place a support structure which will ensure continued training and assistance is available at every stage of the GuidedSMILE journey, enabling quicker and easier skills development, and increased success as a result. Since its inception, our Introduction to CHROME GuidedSMILE course has seen over 250 clinicians arrive in the stunning Fermanagh Lakelands, and through the doors of The L.S. Browne Centre, immersing themselves in the GuidedSMILE protocol for a packed two days. And it’s back for 2025, kicking off with our February course, and with more dates just added to the calendar.
The next step on the GuidedSMILE journey is taking all the knowledge garnered in those two days from the classroom to the clinic, and this is where we believe we can build on the foundation and offer more assistance to the newest GuidedSMILE recruits. In the coming weeks, we will announce details of our new GuidedSMILE Mentoring Programme, which will connect less experienced GuidedSMILE clinicians with seasoned experts who can provide hands-on guidance during their early surgeries. This initiative is designed to offer the kind of personalised support that makes all the difference, whether it’s helping someone through their first case, or refining their skills over time. We see this as the perfect progression from classroom to clinic, providing that support for the next step to help build the skills and confidence to get up and running with GuidedSMILE, benefitting from the wealth of knowledge and experience of the leading GuidedSMILE clinicians in Europe.
Covering the next phase of the journey, we’re also developing a restorative course to provide additional training for the post-surgical phase of the GuidedSMILE protocol. Following a successful recent pilot with a group of UK based clinicians, this one-day programme will become an invaluable resource for both new and experienced GuidedSMILE users, and we will share further details and dates very soon.
And for those looking to take their skills to the next level, we’re delighted to welcome back Martin Wanendeya, renowned FP1 expert, later in the year. His advanced “Systemising Artistry” course, focused on GuidedSMILE Natural’s FP1 treatments, has proven very successful in 2024, helping clinicians elevate their approach to complex cases, and we’re excited to see him inspire another group of participants in 2025.
So, for 2025, we envisage a year of significant growth and development, innovation, and educational. Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible team at Quoris3D. Our people are the backbone of our success, and this year we’ll be welcoming even more talented individuals to join us on this journey. From skilled professionals to eager apprentices, every new team member will play a crucial role in helping us meet the growing demands of our business. We have scaled our workforce quickly in the last 12 months, doubling the size of our team, and we expect to continue on that trajectory this year, so expect more new faces in the very near future!
Watching our apprentices develop under the mentorship of our experienced staff has been one of the most rewarding aspects of the past year, and I’m excited to see how they’ll continue to flourish in 2025. If this is the future of our industry, we’re in good hands!
And a final note as I reflect on the year ahead, I’m reminded that none of this would be possible without the trust and support of our customers. Everything we do - from expanding our capabilities, to launching new products and courses - is driven by a desire to serve you better. Thank you for continuing to place your confidence in us. Together, we are shaping the future of dentistry, and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come. Here’s to a year of growth, innovation, and shared success.
